Horses are divided into types and breeds. The type depends on its size and purpose.

It may be a pony, draft horse, harness horse or saddle horse. It's breed is a bit like

family. It can be pure bred (both parents of the same breed) or part bred (parents of

different breeds.) There are about 300 breeds of horses and ponies in the world.
