Who we are.The Nu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma exists to
promote professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.
The purposes of Delta Kappa Gamma International include:
- To unite women educators of the world in a genuine spiritual fellowship
- To honor women who have given or who evidence a potential for distinctive service in any field of education
- To advance the professional interest and position of women in education
- To initiate, endorse, and support desirable legislation or other suitable endeavors in the interest of education and of women educators
- To endow scholarships to aid outstadning women educators in pursuing graduate study to to grant fellowships to women educators from other countries
- To stimulate the personal and professional growth of members and to encourage their participation in appropriate programs of action
- to inform the members of current economic, social, political, and educational issues so that they may participate effectively in a world society

Meeting times and places for the 2000-2001 school year.
- We meet on the third Monday of most months
- We meet at the West Side church of Christ Family Center, 211 Waco, on West Main in Russellville
- Meetings begin at 4: 30 P. M.
- August 21, 2000--Mr. Ken Story from the Arkansas Historical Commission
- September 18, 2000--Chapter workshop and planning session
- October 16, 2000--Craft auction
- November 20, 2000--agenda open as of June 3, 2000
- December 11, 2000--Music in our lives
- January 15, 2001, or February 19--agenda presently open
- March, 2001--joint meeting, topic to be announced
- April 16, 2001--TBA
- June 18, 2001--TBA
- July 16, 2001--TBA
