"Prayer is participation in the creative Word of God, speaking the new creation into existence."
"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." (1 Timothy 2:1-6, KJV).
"I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers," (Philemon 1:4, KJV).
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6, KJV).

The names of God find there fulfillment in Christ, for He manifested the Father in the earth.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6, KJV).

(Exodus 15:26, KJV).
"And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people." (Matthew 9:35, KJV).

In this first portion of the prayer, we have praised the names of God that make up His Divine Nature. Through praise we enter into the presence of God, where we bring our petitions before Him.
Seek first the kingdom of God, and all the things we need will be added to us.
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33, KJV).
{The dictionary defines "kingdom" as "a government or country headed by a king or queen; a monarchical state; a realm or domain." The word "kingdom" is made up of the noun "king", and the suffix "dom". "Dom" is a noun-forming suffix to express rank, position, or domain. For example, a dukedom is the domain over which a duke has authority or exercises rule, and in the abstract the rank of the duke. In like manner a kingdom is the domain and the people within that domain over which the king exercises authority and rule. It is the "KING'S DOMAIN". The term, Kingdom of God, can mean no other than THE DOMAIN OVER WHICH GOD EXERCISES RULE AS KING. The Lord's greatest dominion at this time is in the lives of His elect. We are to become ruled and governed by the Lord totally and completely. He will continue to rule and reign in our lives until every enemy within us is made subject to Him.}
We need to pray according to the WILL of God, and not according to our own will.
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:" (1 John 5:14, KJV).
"Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done." (Luke 22:42, KJV).
"And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God." (Romans 8:27, KJV).
"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." (John 5:30, KJV).
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14, KJV).
"so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isaiah 55:11, ASV.
