Our new monthly hand-stitching group (SIT AND STITCHERS) is now forming! You are invited to join us. You will learn various hand stitching techniques each month, from basic embroidery to beading, to crazy quilt embellishment and more! We will meet at 1pm on the 4th Wednesday afternoon each month. Our first SIT & STITCH group will begin on Wednesday, Jan 28th, at 1pm with a Beginning Hand Embroidery lesson taught by Margaret Fry. The instructor fee is $5.00 for each person in January and will include the stitch sample, thread, and needle. Bring a thimble, small scissors, and perhaps a needle threader. We will have a variety of visiting instructors throughout the year teaching needleart techniques to our Monthly group. What a great opportunity to learn a new skill, brush up an old one and create something wonderful!
