9. William Alexander³ Naylor (George², Joshua¹) was born in North Carolina 5-29-1827. William died 2-4-1885 in Tennessee, at 57 years of age.

He married twice. He married Lidia Blair in Tennessee, 12-20-1855. Lidia died before 3-14-1868 in Tennessee. He married Mary Ann Hudson in Tennessee, 3-14-1868. Mary died 2-1885 in Tennessee.

William Alexander Naylor and Lidia Blair had the following children:

31 i. Martha Thomas⁴ Naylor. She married James Henry Denning.

32 ii. Frances Marion Naylor. She married J. John Brower Siler.

33 iii. Dolphus N. Naylor.

34 iv. John Andrew Naylor. He married twice. He married Laura Black. He married Annie Nunnally.

William Alexander Naylor and Mary Ann Hudson had the following children:

35 v. Mary Lee Ann Naylor. She married John Douglas Siler.

36 vi. Emma Naylor. She married Samuel Jones Scoggins.

37 vii. Richelieu A. Naylor. He married Nola Gilchrist.
