Well, you've met "Peanut" before. She's now over 6 months old and seems to have
just about stopped growning, but that doesn't mean eating. As you can see, she's
setting herself up for a long life inside. She still has not quite figured out
that Miss Kitty, my 15 year old Siamese, is still the Boss Cat even though they
share feeding times.
After a solid week of screaming at the top of her
little voice, "she" is now an "it". The scar from
the surgery is almost gone, now if the fur would
just return. Boy, it sure is quiet around here now.
During our snowfall last week, I had the dog, 2 cats and "Bugs", the rabbit
in the house for several days. Frequently, I would find Peanut sound asleep
on the towel placed in the bathtub where Bugs enjoyed the cold weather in style.
And now the BIG (actually small) surprise.
Sunday night, Visti returned with a gift from Dr Tina
Spencer and her husband Jeff for his assistance at the
Clinic and around the farm. "Ruby Duce" is a minature
Dachshund. Now, all Visti has to do is figure out how to
get her back to Denmark when he goes home in March.
