Pictures taken July 4th, 1999

This first group is of my front yard

This is my new sod. At the time of these pictures, the sod had been down for about 10 days.

These were taken from the street looking toward the house.

This mulch on top of the flower bed, will be tilled into the soil later.
The area is almost 100% shaded by two huge oak trees.
Flowers and plants that are shade tolerant will be planted here.
You can see a couple of the boundry accent lights installed.

Close up of the accent lighting.
The one on the left has a 4w Amber lamp, while the spot on the right is a 10w clear lamp.
There will be 12 lamps outlining the border between the grass and flower bed.
The spotlights will be used to accent the trees and other areas of the flower bed.
The final number of spots is still undecided.

Shot of the installed sprinkler in operation. The bare spot is what the yard looked like before the sod.
That's the side neighbors yard in the foreground.

The Kennedy Flag

This flag flew over the dedication of the Greers Ferry project.
President John F. Kennedy was the dedication speaker on October 3, 1963.

And, of course, THE ANIMALS.
