When I first started planning my trip to Danmark, I picked dates that would not interfere with my work load at Tech. It wasn't until the trip was expanded that I realized that I would be in Virum for Visti's 21st birthday. Even he did not realize this until I mentioned it to him in an e-mail some weeks before my trip.
The party was for invited guests only. His parents and I were not on the guest list, so we headed to the Summer House for the evening. The picture above shows only the liquid refreshment for the party. Other items included two large pieces of beef, of course the standard chips and dip as well as several other soft drink selections.

Tivoli Gardens is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. So, at Visti's request on Sunday evening, the entire Larsen family, Henrik, Brit, Kenneth (and his girlfriend Mette), Christian (and his girlfriend Mette), Visti and I went to Tivoli for a family dinner to celebrate Visti's 21st birthday. No, it's not a type-o with the girlfriends. Both have the same, a very common, first name.

Tivoli is an old amusement park in the center of the city. It is especially famous for its elaborate gardens and light displays. The garden was build more than a century ago, on the remnants of the old city moat.
