English 88, Modern and Contemorary American Poetry A wonderful page. It is a lengthly list of some great literature/poetry sites on the web.

100 of the greatest poems a of all time A great site. You can find some of your favorite poems here categorized by love and life.

The Shakespheare Classroom A wonderful Shakespheare site. Great for high school students and teachers or just any Shakespheare enthusists

What the Thunder Said A site devoted to the works and life of T.S. Elliot.

Maya Angelou A wonderful site. With many, many poems and resources.

The Milton-L Homepage A site that gives a complete guide to Milton and related resources on the Internet.

The Poetry Exchange Is the permanant On-line repository of contemporary poems prose.

Robert Frost Three volumes of Robert Frost's poems. Nicely indexed.

Poems from the Planet Earth A cool site! Over 600 poems, some in mulitple languages

Poetry Occording to Language and Country of Origin A great page for some to find poems written in a language other than English and some from specific sections of the U.S.

Qrissa's Edgar Allen Poe Pages! A excellent site for Edgar Allen Poe lovers. Great EAP resources!

Poetry Daily Just what you've been looking for. This is a great site, read about the featured poet, and even check out what's happening with Poetry in the news.

Dorothy Parker A wonderful site for Dorothy Parker lovers. Includes poetry and quotes.

Poet's In Person Though this site is no longer being update, I think it is excellent. It is a wonderful site for readers interested in more modern poets. e.g. Rita Dove, Gwendolyn Brooks, Sharon Olds, and Adrienne Rich..among many others. A great site. Please let me know if it is not listed here anymore or if you know of a better more current site similiar to this one.
