Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile" Rom2:9
"The earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come". Mk4:28 God planted in Genesis and reaped in Revelation!
The Two Covenants - part of the 3 dispensations..
"Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah" Jer31:31
"For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah" Heb8:7
ALLEGORY: "Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Hagar". Gal 4:24
BABY - Genesis was the infant stage: "For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law". Rom5:13
CHILDREN - Even the octogenarians among the Hebrews were called "children of Israel"..
ADULT - "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive" Eph4:14
The Old Covenant for the Jew under the LAW was a schoolteacher
to bring us to the New Covenant! Galatians 3:24
40 - 40 - 40
Following the period of the Judges, three (3) kings (Saul, David, Solomon) reigned over ALL ISRAEL, all of the tribes, for 120 years. 40 years each. Then their kingdom divided, with ten tribes going to the North headed up by a "King of Israel", and two of the tribes (Judah & Benjamin) going South under the "King of Judah". Not counting the Levites, apparently. 1K12
Rachel was barren while the first ten sons of Jacob were being born, but finally birthed the Beloved Joseph who was NOT in the pedigree of Jesus. Leah was the 'unloved' whose first four sons had names meaning: seeing, hearing, joined, and Praise. Gen29:32. She was the "fruitful" wife who birthed six sons and Daughter Dinah.
ONE-TWO PUNCH or First and Last? "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over
the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve". 1Tim 2:12 - First the man--then the woman; likewise the Two Covenants! First Esau, then Jacob. First Elijah, then Elisha. First Adam, then Eve. First the Evening, then the Day. First the male, then the female.
On Day One, God said: "Light Be"!
John8:12 "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life".
"And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway". Was this how 'show and tell' got started? 1Cor 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
Rachel (name means "ewe") precedes Leah since figuratively she birthed
"the lamb of God". Leah was the fruitful wife with six sons and one daughter -- her 4th son, Judah, was in the Jesus pedigree.
"And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
"And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side" Exodus25:30-32
