...Greetings! Welcome to those with a sincere liking or interest in the Bible. This didactic site leads to the absolute truth and logic of The Word -- not just the literal truth, but also the poetic truth, historic truth, geographic truth, hidden truth, chronologic truth, figurative truth, simplistic truth, wonderful (secret) truth, and every other kind you might imagine.
Maybe you're thinking "Been there--done that", but this isn't cookie-cutter info, believe me! It's not in lock-step with so-called "religious" institutions. THE GROUND RULE:
The ruling authority is the Scripture itself--the sixty six (66) books from Genesis to Revelation. Tradition and mythology don't count; neither do Sunday School or other bulletins. The Talmud (Jewish Commentary) and Koran (Muslim Commentary) are reckoned as natural human opinion with no more authority than the Washington Post, the New York Times, or the Vermont legislature. Not necessarily evil, just generally getting it wrong.
The sincere seeker of God's wisdom and understanding will find answers here that should strike a chord or maybe harelip the governor. Where did Cain get his wife? What's all this business about turning a stone into bread, or water into wine, or a wife into a pillar of salt?
