My Heart Will Remember When all the world is through with me And I have taken my last step And tasted every last morsel When I have touched the finite finally And have kissed it all goodbye My heart will still remember For living has not been in vain With all its joys and all the pain For suffering and laughter are a part And I will remember with my heart And even though it will stop beating The love I've known will keep repeating We come to earth with nothing But with something we depart Those memories of happiness The laughter of the child in us The sweetness of a kindness done Those things are meant to last until the end And I know that I'll remember in my heart I'll remember loving you for always, my Friend Poetry
