Collision Course

Two celestial bodies burn with a fervent heat
One glowing red, a passionate crimson pyre
The other burning with white-hot desire
They spin in orbits vastly distant
A collision inevitable, insistent
Rushing toward some central place
And one day soon will meet
At some appointed time in space
To explode…in ecstasy complete
And who can know what will transpire
After such a fire?
