Hi, my name is Derrick Ward. I recently completed programming the engine for Natural Screensavers, the first (that I know of) AVI video screensaver that comes with its own AVIs.
Several years ago, I developed the arcade games Frawgguts, Hard Hat Mack I,II, and Castle Archon for the Texas Instruments Z80 series of calculators. Go to the ticalc archive if you are interested in finding the games.
In school I focused on robotics and artificial intelligence. I programmed several robots for the IEEE maze racer and Trinity College fire fighting competitions. In graduate school at the University of Arkansas I wrote a thesis on the analysis of models for generating deceptive communication in intelligent agents. The thesis was entitled The Impact of Deception in a Multiagent system.
