Objective: 1200 guests and a 600 park ratingby the end of year 3.
.Since primary objective is to attract 1200 people and keep them, advertise often. Never let your park rating dip below 600. .
.Keep adding and/or replacing shops and stalls on a regular basis since the amount of real estate is very small. You can buy more, but prospect outward and build slowly, you have to get traffic moving in that direction once you've filled up your existing land.
.A clever trick is to build a tunnel under and around the main gate like a u-turn and connect to your main road near the entrance walkway to your park. Keep in mind, you can't rent, buy nor build within 1 square of the entrance all around. This has a tendency of keeping your people from leaving and helps with your 1200. The angry ones complain, so just escort them out the gate or drop them in the lake, that improves your rating.
aAn underground steel roller-coaster is a favorite here, going around, no twists, just up and down within your original park boundaries. There will always be 60-80 people in that line. Place the Entrance and Exit Ques on the beach, start it 2 layers under ground and finish up where you start.
.You will need to hire workers of all types at regular intervals tocomplete this scernario, a minimum of 5 handymen and 5 mechanics. Section off handy men, about 8 to 10 squares apiece. Keep 1 spare for spot clean-ups when you do your frequent inspections. Do not let people complain about litter and disgusting state of park. That causes your rating to plummet. With a little care, you can end up with at least a rating of 950 and 16,000 people. Fix benches, lamps and garbage cans on a regular basis. Add theming at the end and watch your ratings sky-rocket.
.Save often, because your big roller-coaster crashes a lot, especially when price is too high and there is too much waiting. Better yet, offer it for about $.50 admission, it will stay rolling continuously and therefore eliminates a lot of fiery crashes at the station.
.Borrow what you need only when you need it. Watch your park ratings, and build only to drive it upwards. Give it time to adjust to new building projects, in the meantime, check your park for vandalism, litter, vomit and minimize all your inspection times on rides to 10 minutes, keep those mechanics walking. Don't section the mechanics, but if something breaks down, check see who responds and air-hook them there if they're far away.
