Objective: 1200 guests and a 600 park ratingby the end of year 3.
1.All non rollercoaster and water rides will be great for this park. If you wish, turn off the rollercoaster research in your research (flask) menu. Do not use one of the pre-designed roller coaster, you will not get people to ride it. If you must use a rollercoaster, build it yourself and keep all ratings under 4, if possible. Save before and after if you achieve what you need.
2.This is a small island park. At the earliest convenience and money available, build a walkway all around the park, preferably at water's edge. Build/Modify Entrance Ques to make them as long as possible, building the Entrance one first, and paralleling the exit one after if at all possible after the Entrance one is complete.
2a.A water ride is a natural for this scenario, like rowboats or swan boats. This is a mild ride and works good with this park.
2b.Because it is hilly, you will have to get ingenious with Ques and exits. Don't be afraid to go over existing Ques and buildings, or tunnel through hills.
3.You will need add all kinds of shops and stalls in this scernario. Spend your research money on gentle rides and souvenier shops and eating places.
4.When you build a walkway all around to accomodate the number of people required to successfully beat the scenario, puke becomes a big problem here as other parks that have extensive walkways. You still need to keep this park as puke free as possible, section off 3 or 4 handymen, and keep one handyman as a reserve to parachute him in to the worst areas. Turn off all scenery, rides, supports and people to see the debris and puke.
5. Keep adding in new rides and workers at regular intervals to keep the people happy, and repeat no. 4 until your Park Rating maxes out. Keep it above 700 if possible. It's amazing what park cleanliness does for your Park Rating.
6.Keep advertising the park at regular intervals to get more guests, advertise for 6 weeks at a time, and advertise for 1/2 price or free admission to park when the numbers stop moving upwards.
6a.Personal note: Since the Park Value stayed above 800 for 1st year with very little tweaking, I concentrated on getting people in the park, by providing more walkways, and connecting existing paths. I found a River Rapid ride splashing down to the water above a boat ride a very popular ride. I had it going through the mountain at the top, but very short drops, throwing in a whirlpool or a rapids periodically. Build it fast so as not to neglect your park cleanliness.
