If you are looking for a Sunday School class, here is a listing or you may call Theresa at the church office to discuss the possibilities (968-1238). Any of these classes would welcome you with open arms. Adult Classes Granger Class - meets in room 102. This group of older adults uses the Present Word curriculum in Bible study. Currently the lesson material is focusing on Mission and Ministry as they study the book of Luke. Neill Bell Class - meets in the Fellowship Hall. This multi-generation group is using the new Covenant People curriculum in a Bible study which is currently focusing on Encounters with Jesus as he begins his ministry. Fellowship Class - meets on the second floor in room 204. This group of 30's & 40+ singles and couples has just completed the Kerygma Bible Study and is beginning a new study using the Covenant People curriculum. Young Adult Class - meets in the church Annex, the building facing Denver Street. This newly formed class for adults in their 20's & 30+ uses a variety of study materials from Presbyterian Publishing as they study the Bible and current events effecting their faith journey. Joy Class - meets in room 103 on the first floor. This multi-generational class is especially suited to adults with develop- mental disabilities. "Feed All My Sheep" is the curriculum used. Boomers Class - the Christian Education Committee is in the process of forming a class for "Baby Boomers". Children and Youth Classes
Early Christian Awareness - meets in the nursery, room 100. This is a class for children through 2 years of age which uses the ECA Curriculum to teach them that God loves and cares for them. Preschool Class - meets in room 101. This class is for 3, 4, and 5 year old children who have not started kindergarten. The curriculum used in this class is from Gospel Light and has many hands on activities to reinforce the children’s Bible lesson. Rotation Sunday School - meets on the second floor. These classes are for children kindergarten through 5th grade. This exciting program uses activity centers to tell the Bible story in each unit. Children experience the lesson through Bible Stories and Games, a Video Center, Arts & Crafts, Puppets and Drama, Music & Cooking, and a Computer Lab. Your kids will LOVE this program! Youth Class - meets on the second floor in room 200. This class for students grades six and above is using the new Covenant People curriculum and is currently studying about love of self and others and how this affects our self esteem. * * * * * * * * * * There are many benefits to being active in our church’s Christian Education programs. The fellowship with others in your church family, the sense of support through life’s ups and downs, the positive atmosphere and reinforcement of God’s love, as well as the learning that takes place are all a part of what makes Sunday School and other CE classes such an important part of our lives.
