The Parenting from Prison programs, started 10 years ago by volunteers, serve the needs of children and families who are separated by parental incarceration.

Services provided include:

• Parenting from Prison Classes
• Parenting after Release/Reunification Classes
• Family Matters Demonstration/Project for Children of Prisoners (Pulaski County Only)
• Kinship Caregiver Support Groups (Pulaski, Prairie, and Jefferson Counties Only)
• Even Start Family Literacy Program for Children of Prisoners
• Trainings for those interested in working with families and children

We now offer classes to young fathers in our prison system.

Raising children can be hard. We want to help by providing you with tips, information, and parenting skills that will make a difference.
