The Community Education Program provides parenting education through a series of classes or as single workshops targeting specific topics. Areas addressed include positive discipline, parent-child communication and techniques for addressing Attention-Defict/Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, strong-willed children, and other behavioral issues.

Childcare Provider Training sessions that meet approved continuing education requirements of the Arkansas Childcare Licensing Board are offered throughout the year. The Parent Center, in partnership with St. Vincent Health System, provides a number of workshops on topics such as cultural diversity, communication, behavior management and make-and-take art activities. Additionally, the Parent Center provides workshops and trainings for agencies, business, inducstry, and organizations on a fee for service basis.
