| Working a Rowdy Pup with Tube Caged Squirrel | |

This a picture of my gray squirrel in the tube cage. I still have his house wrapped as I do in the winter to help keep the cold and rain out of his house. The feed is at the other end of the tube and can not be seen in this picture. The dog in the picture is Huett's Liberty. She is a daughter of Rowdy and Pris Wilkerson. Justin Huett has brought her up to visit twice and let her bark at the tubed squirrel. She is only 6 months old, but really getting started with a lot of help from Justin working with her. The metal casing on the trees is there so any squirrel that come to feed have to go down the tree and hit the ground so my pups can chase them. The woods around my house are so thick that a squirrel can timber for miles without every coming down from the tree. |
