Here is what Eddie had to say about Star in March 2004
Star is my first Feist and I couldn't be happier with her. Although she was the last pup picked in her litter, she would have been my first choice if I had been given the chance. By 9 weeks old Star would come on command, sit, speak, and fetch.  Needless to say, she was already impressing me. By 11 weeks old she was barking up on a squirrel's tail, after just a couple introductions. At 16 weeks old she has been taken to the woods a couple of times and is investigating everything. I have also seen her trailing squirrels here in my yard. She isn't barking up on them yet, but I'm sure its not far away. Star is also put together as well as any pup I have ever seen and has even commanded compliments from diehard hound men, as well as other cur and Feist owners. To top it all off, Star also has a nice "tree" voice that I can't wait to hear her put to use on Mr. Bushy Tail.
