Starting to work with a pup when it is really young is the smart thing to do. Lady is out of Galla Creek Pris Wilkerson and Max. David Shinn of North Little Rock owns Lady. He read the Osborn book, "Squirrel Hunting Basics" to get ideas on training a pup. In these pictures, he is working with Lady to look up and trail a squirrel hide and she's only 7 weeks old. Five to ten minutes would be an appropriate period of time to work a young pup. They frustrate easily. |
