Roger Slayton of near Ozark, AR. owned Jack. He is out
of Galla Creek Bell and Galla Creek Taylor--half Old Time
Mountain Feist and half Robert Kemmer Stock. He is a full
brother to Galla Creek Boog Carter, but out of an earlier litter
We heard about Jack when Roger called to ask about his
ancestors. Later, we went to Ozark just to see him, again. He
is a beautiful red Mountain Feist. Roger says he is really
a great squirrel dog. Here, he is treed on a fox squirrel in Roger's
front yard. Roger Slayton has sold his Galla Creek Jack Dog to an Alabama squirrel hunter. The man who bought Jack came by our Kennel. He is a lineman for the Electric Co. near Huntsville. Jack is not Roger's dog anymore, but he will always be ours. Born on Galla Creek, raised near our hearth, a place in our hearts! |
