White's Lady Calamity Jane, Ron, and Lil Ron check their squirrel! This is White's Lady CJ's wild squirrel hunt in Mississippi in middle August 2006. Lady is only 10 weeks old!!

Lady is a Galla Creek female pup born May 22, 2006 to Zipporah and Radio Flyer. The Ron White Family of Mississippi purchased Lady for their son, Lil' Ron to have as a companion dog and Big Ron is going to try squirrel hunting. Ron's wife Cindy promised to keep us updated on Lady's progress as a squirrel dog and friend to Lil Ron White. We received these pictures from Cindy August of 2006. We are so proud of Lady and hope our little female from the same litter (Annie Oakley) does as well. We call Annie Crickett because she is always on the move like a little cricket.

White's Lady CJ Treed!! Here's part of Cindy's email !
Larry & Betty,
Lady has treed her first squirrel. Last Wednesday, Ron shot a squirrel and let Lady get it and play with it. He brought her inside and tied a fishing line on the squirrel. He let the squirrel drag on the ground straight to a tree and put it up the tree. Then he let Lady out and put her on the trail. As soon as she smelled the ground she ran straight for the tree where Ron had the squirrel hiding. She barked and barked until Ron brought her back inside.

On Friday, morning Ron brought her home a live squirrel in a trap. She barked and barked at it. When Ron let it out of the trap she chased it up a tree and tried to climb the tree to get it. She was so mad that it got away from her.

After she was done at the tree she went back to the trap just to make sure it was still empty. She was just worn out from her big hunt in the back yard. She does seem to just know what to do! We were all shocked that she knew what to do. Ron would like her to bark a little more at the tree, she barked her head off at it in the trap but once the squirrel got up the tree she did not bark as much as she was looking for a way up the tree. Once she figured out there was no way for her to get up the tree she ran back to the trap to bark some more.

Lil' Ronnie was so excited to see her after the squirrel. We are all so happy with her. She is just so much fun to watch. I will send more later!
