as we love and cherish the photos. The pictures was taken in the Ozarks about 1915. It came from
the book "Under a Buttermilk Moon": A Country Memoir by Roy Webster / August House Publishers, LR. AR. 1984 Note by Galla Creek Kennel: I am pretty sure that Mr. Webster grew up at Rogers, Ar. (Northwest corner) and was the founder of business "House of Webster". The photo is probably of his father who grew strawberries and many other fruits. Mrs. Webster made jellies and jams and sold them. Roy started a large business doing the same! Feists were and are versital dogs and used for different jobs--they were their owner's helper in every chore. Feists were and are smart enough to know what you want to do whether it be bring in the cows to the lot or tree a squirrel for dinner |  Close up of dog in the wagon! |
