| Falling Water Creek-My favorite Place to Hunt | |

My favorite place in the world is on Falling Water Creek, Newton County/Pope County Arkansas. The road winds along the creek for miles. I took this picture last summer of the Falls, which was almost dried up. When troubles surround us, there is no place to go like Falling Water. My Great Grandfather, Howard Standridge, homesteaded and brewed moonshine here. When I go there in the still, quiet of the forest I can hear his footsteps and his Feist dog barking treed. |
