Squirrel Training Tip for pups--Pups have to figure out what you want them to do. Here Nelson and Cork are treeing a dead squirrel. Lots of what dogs do is instinct--it is just bred into them. But it helps when we reinforce what we want. Praise them then they bark. That seems to be the hardest thing for folks to get their Feist to do. I am trying to bred the bark instinct into my line of dogs. |
