We bought Aussie at Hector, AR. She is a hard treeing squirrel dog. Her father was a white Feist owned by Chas Riley and her mother a spotted dog belonging to Jerry Branch. Aussie is salt and pepper colored. Her call name is Pepper. She is a stay put tree dog, great timber watcher, and very even tempered. If Aussie has a fault, it's she does not want to quit. Her sires line of Feist came from the old line of Old-Time Mtn. Feist bred by Lester Miller of Morrilton, AR. We have sold Aussie to Tim Pennington of Ky. We are hoping they make an excellent hunting pair--Aussie is a hard hunting Feist squirrel dog. We have kept a pup from her and Max, Galla Creek Cork, we are hoping she turns out just like Aussie!!! |
