Galla Creek Acre Squirrel Training Pen!

Each summer, I try to add something to my Galla Creek Feist Kennel. The summer of 2004, I built an acre training pen. I plan to put most of my feeders inside the pen and intice the squirrels to come. The pen is big enough that I can put a grown dog or several pups or a started dog in it.

I fenced the pen with horse wire. It was pretty expensive ($200 for 200 feet) but small pups can not get out of the fence

I placed a cedar pole between two trees and put feed on the pole. The dogs have a good view of the squirrels.

I call this contraption a dinner pole.
