Our Community Center is a beautiful structure inside and out which contains features that young and old alike can enjoy for years to come.
On the outside of the two-story facility, there is a full sized soccer field, a jogging/walking path, plenty of parking and a beautiful clock tower.
On the inside, upper level, there is a large lobby and banquet hall/meeting room which seats 374 people in chairs or 200 people at tables. This room is complete with a raised, curtained stage, lighting/sound systems, back stage dressing rooms, and even a loading dock. An adjoining kitchen makes serving banquets convenient. The possible uses for this particular feature of the Community Center are virtually unlimited!
Also on the upper level, there is a large exercise area, a three lane walking/jogging track opening to the gymnasium below, exercise and aerobics areas, exercise equipment and an enclosed children's play area with windows allowing parents to see inside as they work-out. At the center of the upper floor activities, there is a reception center opening to the lobby, an office, restrooms, vending machines and pay phones. There will be a centrally located elevator and open stairway for easy access between the two levels.
Upon entering the south entrance of the lower level, one will find a two story lobby with an information/reception desk, offices and a youth center. The youth center has seating areas, a game area and vending machines. There is also a small concession stand which may be used during athletic tournaments or other public functions.
On the east side of the lower lobby, there is a large gymnasium with six basketball goals that allow one high school size court and two little league courts. They gym can also be converted into two vollyball courts, and inline roller skating and indoor soccer are also possible on the multipurpose flooring. Rollback bleachers can seat the many spectators present for the various events taking place in the gym.
On the west, lower level side of the building, there is a multi-use indoor swimming pool. Whether it's lap swimming, water aerobics, therapy or even water games one is interested in, this pool can accomidate them all! Last but not least on the lower level, there is a raquetball court, men and women's locker rooms with restrooms and showers, storage and other service spaces.
