There have been angels in my life. While they haven't arrived with a blast of trumpets or a rustle of wings, I've known them just the same. They performed their acts in human guise, sometimes borrowing the faces of family and friends, sometimes posing as well-meaning strangers. You have known them too, when just the right word was needed. When a tiny act of kindness made a great difference. ~Alarie Tennile~

A little about me.....well now there is a story. ~laughs~ Really there is not that much to tell, I am just a Southern Angel. I have many goals and dreams and thoughts of how I want my life to be. I am old-fashioned at times, adventerous at others. Spiritual yet not religious, accomidating yet not spineless, femine yet not helpless, generous but not a fool. For now I will continue to wish upon stars.....and know that someday my dream will come true. The one thing I do know...and usually gets me into trouble, is that I have a huge heart....and in that I take pride. And I believe that is what inspired me to be a Nurse. Yes I am a Registered Nurse and love my profession with all of my heart. Everday in my job can be the most rewarding, frustrating, joyous, heart-breaking, inspirational, questionable day than the one before. I graduated from Arkansas State University in May of 1996 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I went to work full time 11-7 shift pediatric/medical floor in a rural community hospital. With the help of the wonderful and inspirational group of people that I work with, I have grown and experienced so much this past year and would like to thank all of them. In April of this year I decided to grow professionally and transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital. My ultimate goal however will be the Emergency Room ~smiles~.


What is a nurse? A nurse is a special person, an angel in disguise, with tenderness in every touch and caring, watchful eyes.....A nurse will sit beside you to talk away your fears, lift your spirits, warm your heart, and wipe away your tears. A nurse will care for patients with true expertise and pride, warmth and dedication that comes from deep inside. A nurse is a professional who goes the extra mile.....What is a nurse? A little bit of heaven with a smile.


Although most of my time over the past year has been spent chatting with my wonderful friends.......I have ventured out some to the information highway. ~laughs~ I have found some educational sites, some interesting sight, some fun sights...and some sights that just make you go Hmmmmmmmmmmm ~winks~ There are many causes that I believe in ranging from cruelty to animals, pollution, children, the elderly, mental health and the list could go on. I do not want to overwhelm you with links to all of these, but I will try in different spots throught the page to provide acess to important issues to expand your knowledge, heighten your awareness, and allow you to show support. There are two matters that I particularily hold dear to heart and hope that you take the time to inquire.
