The ARVARF meeting of January 18, 2005 was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by president, Loretta Morgan, KB5OHF. A motion was made my Margaret Alexander, KC5MCS to accept the November and December minutes as written in the newsletter. The motion was seconded by Jim Alexander, K0HIP and the motion passed.

Glenn Holmes, N5KLE gave the Treasurer's Report. A motion was made to accept the treasurer's report as handed out in the flyers. Andy Ward, KD5QJQ seconded the motion and the motion passed.

A reminder was made to pay our annual membership dues.

Andy Ward, KD5QJQ reports that the materials to repair the Mt. Nebo repeater site have been purchased. He spent $92.07 of the $150 which was authorized. Repairs need to be made to the roof, door and light fixtures. A date will be set in March to make the repairs.

Charles Shinglur, K5NRC reported that the 146.82 repeater on Mt. Nebo is working properly at the moment. He asks that he be contacted if any problems are noted with the repeater. The repeater which in service is a backup because of no time to repair the other cross band repeater.

Dennis Schaefer, W5RZ. reports that the Morrilton club is now ARRL affiliated

There was no RACES report.

Andy Ward, KD5QJQ has volunteered to be net control for March.

Nick Kennedy, WA5BDU reminds us that the hamfest will be March 5. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. Saturday with setup Friday night 4 to 8 and Saturday morning 7 a.m. There was a lengthy discussion on hamfest.

Motion to adjourn by Ben Hillis, W5HH and seconded by Glenn Holmes, N5KLE. Motion passed and the meeting was adjourned at 7:24 p.m.
