This is just a reminder that a Test Session will be held on Saturday, August 13th, for all classes of Amateur Radio license. The test session will be held at the Russellville Airport in the CAP building. Registration begins at 0900. Cost is $14.00.
ARVARF is sponsoring a course for Technician Class license-holders to learn enough to pass the test for General Class. If you know anyone who still holds a Technician Class license, urge him or her to attend. Also, it could be an excellent refresher course for those who feel they need it. Morse code will not be taught.
The class will be held at Arkansas Tech University every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:30, beginning September 8th, and continuing for 10 weeks. Registration for the class at ATU costs $10. ARRL textbooks will be available in class for $16.95. Registration by e-mail to
