Don't throw me in the briar patch...

Is there honor among thieves
Or honesty between two liars?
You asked me not to throw you in,
But here we sit, amongst the briars,
It's not a cosy place to rest,
The thorns they prick and poke us sore,
But, since your love is still love's best,
I beg of you, please hurt me more!

The Tar Man...meets Molly Cottontail

Are you that great Tar Man of lore?
The one I have been looking for?
If I should touch you with my hands
And with my kisses make demands,
And get real close and up real tight
And hold on fast with all my might
Then if I try to get away
Will you grab on and make me stay?
I might say, "OOOOh"
Or (not likely), "No"
But, Baby, please don't let me go
My Tar Man, hold me, hold me fast
I want this love affair to last
Want you to stick to me like glue
And never to be rid of you
I want to stick around a while
And make you laugh and make you smile
And with my bunny tail tickle you all day
Until "Oh, stop!" I hear you say
Then I might (maybe) think about it
But, then again, I really doubt it.
